Hong Kong (Fides Service) - “Aim, line and plan of Religious Instruction” was the theme of a seminar for middle school teachers organised by the middle school group of the Commission for Catechesis of Hong Kong Catholic diocese. According to the diocesan bulletin Kong Ko Bao about forty teachers from 25 different Catholic middle schools in Hong Kong attended the recent Study Seminar held at the Hong Kong Caritas Centre. At the Seminar the teachers were encouraged to offer concrete and creative suggestions based on their personal experience. Fr Antonio Leung, headmaster of the middle school at the Salesian English School Complex, stressed the importance of the religious instruction in schools. The proposals and methods considered useful were made available at the respective web sites of the Diocesan Commission for Catechesis and the Diocesan Centre for Catechism.
