ASIA/TAIWAN - Don Bosco parishe organises Christmas Party to underline the value of Christian solidarity

Taipei (Fides Service) - Religious articles market, multiethnic food, games, entertainment and charity raffle were part of a Christmas party organised by Don Bosco parish in the archdiocese of Taipei on 4 December. According to the archdiocese’s Christian Life Weekly the aim of the initiative launched by the parish priest was to collect money for works of solidarity, humanitarian and social aid.
Moreover numerous Catholic associations, the local Caritas, Catholic Homes for the Elderly and Day Centres responded with great enthusiasm with their own contribution. The party was a happy moment of sharing, fraternal meeting, exchange of opinions and for building future relations and collaboration. The money collected on that day has been given to support Catholic associations operating in the social in Hong Kong and in other countries.
