Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – The Holy Father Benedict XVI, on November 24, 2008,
accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Archdiocese of Pretoria, and the Office of Military Ordinary for South Africa of Archbishop George Francis Daniel, in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, canon 401 § 1. The Holy Father appointed as Archbishop of Pretoria, and Military Ordinary for South Africa, Bishop Paul Mandla Khumalo C.M.M., until now Bishop of Witbank. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 25/11/2008)
