ASIA/TAIWAN - World Youth Day in Taiwan (October 9-12) on the themes from WYD in Sydney, with an emphasis on the missionary vocation

Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) – World Youth Day 2008 in Taiwan will take place October 9-12, taking up the themes addressed in the World Youth Day celebrated in Sydney: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses.” According to organizers, the encounter will offer various activities to help youth grow in their faith and in the awareness of their vocation as missionaries, especially since October is Missions Month. The celebration will last 3 days and will include testimonies, adoration, praise and worship, a Way of the Cross play, evangelization activities, youth Masses, workshops, and more.
