World Mission Sunday 2005: Catholic Church Statistics
Vatican City (Fides Service) - Here is Fides annual report on Catholic Church statistics which is prepared every year in view of World Mission Sunday 23 October. Figures regarding members of the Church, church structures in the field of pastoral care, healthcare, education and assistance are taken from the latest edition of the Church’s Book of Statistics. Here are also the total number of circumscriptions (archdiocese, diocese, territorial abbacy, Apostolic vicariate, apostolic prefecture, apostolic administration, Mission sui juris, military ordinate) in the care of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples
