Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - The Encyclical written by Pope Benedict XVI Deus Caritas Est will be the main theme for Summer Catechism courses this Summer organised by Son of Man Religious Formation Group in Taiwan. According to Christian Life Weekly, the initiative aims to teach children to love their parents, other family members, friends and neighbours; to care for everyone especially the weakest and most needy. The diocese has organised two days of formation 28 and 29 April for catechism teachers. According to the organisers the number of families in difficulty last year was the highest in recent years. Many families face difficulties which stem from a lack of love. “We must love and teach people how to love, like the Lord Jesus and the Pope, children must be taught early in life to love one another”.
