AMERICA/COLOMBIA - First National Meeting for Youth Movements to consolidate ecclesial unity in diversity of charisma

Bogota (Agenzia Fides) - The commission for youth pastoral of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Colombia has organised the First National Meeting for Youth Movements for members of movements of a pastoral character and groups and associations with direct apostolate among young people.
The purpose of the meeting, is to foster communion among Catholic youth movements in Colombia by means of sharing experience and a process of formation and reflection on Youth Pastoral in order to consolidate unity in diversity of the different charisma. The Meeting, to be held in Bogota, will start on Friday 22 September and close on Sunday 24 with a final assessment of the experience.
The themes for discussion will reflect the theme of 5th CELAM General Conference to be held in May 2007 in Brazil: "Disciples and missionaries of Jesus Christ that our peoples may have life in Him".
