Manila (Fides News Agency) – "It marks the beginning of a continental network of Catholic digital missionaries committed to evangelization, collaboration and mutual support." This is how Father John Mi Shen, Executive Secretary of FABC-OSC and Program Director of Radio Veritas Asia, describes the first assembly that will bring together Catholic digital communicators from across Asia.

The four-day assembly will be held from September 10–13, 2026, at the Radio Veritas Asia headquarters in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
It will bring together men and women engaged in digital evangelization from across the continent.
The assembly carries the theme “Influencers to Witnesses: A Synodal Way for Digital Mission in Asia,” and is intended as an opportunity "to share experiences, foster collaboration and explore new ways of communicating the Gospel through digital platforms." "Our goal is not simply to produce more digital content," Father Mi Shen says, "but to form authentic witnesses of Christ who can communicate the Gospel with creativity, credibility and compassion."

The assembly will be attended by experts from around the world and will also serve as an important milestone in the preparations for World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea. Participants will explore ways to develop “Asian Voices for WYD,” a collaborative digital initiative aimed at connecting young Catholics across Asia ahead of the global gathering.

Inspired by the biblical verse of the Acts of the Apostles: "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20), the assembly is in line with Radio Veritas Asia’s mission, according to a statement released by the Catholic broadcaster. (PR) (Fides News Agency, 16/7/2026)
