The targets and main activities will be: missionary formation of priests, religious and laity in various dimensions (ad gentes, ad intra and ad extra, pastoral workers involved in parish missions); promotion of missionary pastoral in every region; promotion and accompaniment of missionaries who come to work in Central American local Churches and those who return to their Churches after mission service ad extra; relations with national Mission Councils in Central American countries, willingness to accompany processes of missionary pastoral on request .
According to the project the missionaries will take part in a path of formation in their respective countries which will last about two years during which the participants attend monthly meetings on themes connected with mission. After this period the missionaries will move to the Mission Centre at Tegucigalpa in Honduras where they will live and study for a year following an intense programme of formation in various different fields respectively for clergy, religious and laity.
