Como (Agenzia Fides) - "This morning Don Roberto Malgesini was murdered in Como by a homeless man with mental problems": this was announced by the diocese of Como, where the priest, 51 years old, originally from Valtellina, was killed in the city center, not far from San Rocco Parish, where he was a collaborator. According to information gathered by Fides, the attack took place shortly after 7 am, the priest was hit in the back with a knife, which was then found, and the murderer turned himself in. Don Roberto was known for being "the priest of the marginalized", he dedicated himself in particular to assisting the homeless and migrants. This evening at 8.30 pm in the Cathedral in Como, Bishop Mgr. Oscar Cantoni will lead the Holy Rosary.
