Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, on 5 January 2006 appointed Rector of St Augustine Major inter-diocesan Seminar in Maputo Rev. José da Cruz Muluta of the archdiocesan clergy of Nampula.
The new rector was born on 18 September 1970 and ordained a priest on 3 September 2000. He has a Licentiate in spiritual theology from the Pontifical Gregorian (2004) and has already served as rector of Mater Apostolorum inter-diocesan propaedeutic seminary in Nampula. (S.L.)
