Buenos Aires (Fides Service) – Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May in Buenos Aires there will be a Workshop of Initiation to Missionary Childhood and Adolescence promoted by the Pontifical Mission Societies of Missionary Childhood in Argentina. The meeting is open to Holy Childhood animators and other pastoral workers interested in improving their service of missionary animation among little people. In view of this the Work Shop has as its objective, the theological, spiritual and methodological updating of the participants so that they may be animations of formation, communion and missionary cooperation of children and their educators in their respective communities. Among the topics of the meeting: the missionary situation in the world, with particular regard to children and adolescents; the foundation and aims of mission; the Pontifical Mission Society of Missionary Childhood and Adolescence; missionary formation of adolescents and children; missionary spirituality and profile of the missionary animator.
