AFRICA - Don Orione family celebrates ordination of first local born priests in Kenya and Madagascar

Rome (Fides Service)- Saturday and Sunday, 19 and 20 November, the Orinini Family founded by Saint Luigi Orione will rejoice for the ordination of two of its members deacon Peter Wambulwa Wakoba, and deacon Désiré Randriamaheninaharijaona respectively from Kenya from Madagascar.
“Peter Wambulwa Wakoba - said Fr Enemesio Lazzaris, vicar general and mission delegate - will be our first Kenyan Orinone priest. He belongs to the Orione Delegation in Britain which directs also Ireland and missions in India, Jordan and Kenya. Born on 8 October 1968 Peter made his first vows on 8 September 1999 and will be ordained by the Bishop of Kitale diocese in Kenya on Saturday November 19”.
“Désiré Randriamaheninaharijaona from Madagascar is a member of the Orione province of S. Marziano, which directs northern Italy and missions in Ukraine, Rumania, Madagascar, Switzerland and France". Born on 25 November in 1971 at Bemasoandro he made his first vows on 8 September 2000. Desire will be ordained on Sunday 20 November in Anatihazo, Madagascar”.
