VATICAN - Thursday 17 November, presentation of Masters in Management for development, for young African talents promoted by the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples in collaboration with the Sacred Heart Catholic University

Vatican City (Fides Service) - On Thursday 17 November at 10.30am at the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples building in Piazza di Spagna 48 - Via di Propaganda 1c, Rome, there will be a media conference to present the first academic year of a Masters Degree in Management for Development to provide young Africans with the know-how necessary to promote the economic and social development of their respective countries.
The Masters is promoted by the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples which identifies the formation of future cadres profoundly rooted in Christian culture a contribution which the Church can offer to further the development of peoples. The course is planned and organised by ALTIS (Alta Scuola Impresa e Società, dell'Università Cattolica di Milano) in collaboration with the Pontifical Urban University in Rome.
The students come from 17 different countries Sudan, Ghana, Seychelles, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso and were proposed by the respective Bishops’ Conferences.
Present at the media conference Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples and Professor Lorenzo Ornaghi, rector of the Catholic University Sacro Cuore.
