Bogota (Agenzia Fides) - After the news of the Nobel Peace Prize 2016 awarded to Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon, His Exc. Mgr. Luis Augusto Castro, Archbishop of Tunja and President of the Colombian Episcopal Conference, expressed his joy and congratulated the President of the nation.
"I want to congratulate President Santos: I want to say that the Colombians and I are happy for this award, which in addition to being an award for one’s personal effort, it is a further boost to the peace process. This award should also encourage those who want to find a quick solution".
