Lima (Fides Service) - Recently about 50 representatives of youth pastoral groups and missionary youth groups of the archdioceses of Lima and Arequipa attended the 1st Workshop for Missionary Youth Leadership organised by the national office for missionary youth SENAJUMI with the slogan “Go and proclaim the Gospel!” SENAJUMI is a fruit of the 3rd National Missionary Youth Congress (CONAJUMI) held in August last year in Arequipa and its aim is to contribute towards making missionary youth pastoral more effective and more organised.
Moreover on June 18 a group of young people who will form the Peruvian youth delegation to the World Youth Day event in Germany 16-21 August started a five-week preparation course with formation and reflection on the duties of young Christians today based on the late Pope John Paul II’s special Messge for this 20th World Youth Day.
