Taipei (Fides Service) - According to Christian Life Weekly publication issued by the archdiocese of Taipei, recently the Catholic Bishops and Superiors of Religious Institutes of Taiwan gathered for their Spring Meeting. In preparation for the event the Bishops had held meetings with religious in their respective dioceses to discuss difficulties and matters to present at the island level and take stock of progress in pastoral activity. The agenda included points such as promoting devotion to the Eucharist, and making parishes communities of Faith Hope and Charity; inter-diocesan collaboration; pastoral care of immigrants and migrants. After reflecting on the different topics the Bishops met with the Superiors of Religious Institutes on the Island to encourage religious communities to continue their work in dioceses and parishes.
