Hong Kong (Fides Service) -“We have a Pope!” is the title of a message to the diocese issued by the Catholic Bishop of Hong Kong Joseph Zen following the election of Pope Benedict XVI. Kong Ko Bao diocesan bulletin said that after the election Bishop Zen voiced his gratitude: “As we prayed we were certain that the Holy Spirit would guide the Cardinals to choose a Pope as willed by God. And the Cardinals did so speedily and we are doubly happy. We hope Pope Benedict XVI will continue to part the clouds of impropriety and reveal the light of the truth”. Hong Kong diocese will hold a solemn concelebration of the Eucharist on Monday 25 April to thank God for the new Pope.
