San Salvador (Agenzia Fides) - The first national day for the prevention and control of dengue and chikungunya was held in Liga Panamericana School Centre which is located in San Jacinto. According to the Ministry of Health (MINSAL), dengue fever mainly affects school age children. The age group particularly affected by the disease concerns small children. 80% of dengue cases was recorded between 5 and 14 years of age. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 03/06/2015)
