Thursday, 21 May 2015

Abuja (Agenzia Fides) - In the world there are hundreds of millions of children who cannot afford to have a pair of shoes. A young American has invented a pair of rubber and leather sandals, made with a system of clamps that stretch up to five extra numbers. The aim of this initiative is to help the 300 million children worldwide who are forced to walk barefoot, risking serious diseases. With the help of a former manager of a sports brand, the young man was able to make the 'magic shoes' that can be widened and lengthened. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 21/05/2015)
