Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on 13 April 2012 appointed rev. José Maliekal, S.D.B. as Rector of the Major Seminary "St. John's Regional Seminary "in Visakhapatnam, India.
The new Rector was born on March 1, 1959, and was ordained a priest on December 27, 1988. He completed his theological studies at Kristu Jyoti College, in Bangalore. (CE) (Agenzia Fides 22/06/2013)
