Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Benedict XVI on November 21, 2012 accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of Madras and Mylapore (India), by His Exc. Mgr. A. Malayappan Chinnappa, S.D.B., in accordance with can. 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law and appointed Archbishop of Madras and Mylapore His Exc. Mgr.
