Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On January 13, 2012, the Holy Father Benedict XVI accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of Dharmapuri (India) presented by His Exc. Mgr. Joseph Anthony Irudayaraj, S.D.B., in accordance with canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed His Exc. Mgr. Lawrence Pius Dorairaj, titular Bishop of Absasalla and Auxiliary of the Archdiocese of Madras and Mylapore (India) as Bishop of Dharmapuri. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 14/01/2012)
