Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, on 23 November 2010, appointed as National Director of Pontifical Mission Socities in Brazil from 2010-2015, Father Camilo Pauletti, diocesan priest in Caxias.
The new National Director is 51 years old, serving 24 of them as a priest. Currently he is parish priest of the “São João Batista” priest in the Diocese of Ji, Paraná. In his family three of his brothers are also priests. He was a missionary in Mozambique and has completed various missionary studies. (S.L.) (Agenzia Fides 22/01/2011)
