Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Benedict XVI, on 30 November, 2010 accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the Archdiocese of Madang (Papua New Guinea), presented by Archbishop William Joseph Kurtz, SVD in accordance with canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed as Archbishop of Madang (Papua New Guinea), Bishop Stephen Reichert, O.F.M. Cap, of Mendi (Papua New Guinea). (SL) (Agenzia Fides 30/11/2010)
