AFRICA/BURKINA FASO - Archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso resigns, successor appointed

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Pope Benedict XVI, on November 13, 2010, accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Archdiocese of Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso), presented by Archbishop Titianma Anselme Sanon, in conformity with canon 401 § 2 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed Bishop Paul Yembuado Ouédraogo, now Bishop of Fada N'Gourma, as Archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso). (SL) (Agenzia Fides 13/11/2010)
