Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Pope Benedict XVI, on September 21, 2010, accepted the resignation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Matadi (DRC), presented by Bishop Gabriel Kembo Mamputu, in conformity with canon 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. He is succeeded by Bishop Daniel Nlandu Mayi, Coadjutor Bishop of the diocese. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 21/09/2010)
