Cochabamba (Agenzia Fides) – Cochabamba in Bolivia, is hosting a meeting of Bishop presidents of Commissions for Communications -RIIAL, Area Sistemi, executive secretaries of Communications and Press of the Commissions of the Bishops' Conferences of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event is organised by the Department for Communications and Press of the Council of Latin American Bishops' Conferences (CELAM); the meetings are taking place at Cardinal Clemente Maurer Meeting Centre.
The aim is to reflect on the importance of Communications for the Church and plan policies and strategies for communication pastoral care, as a path of hope and communion, to promote an exchange of experience in communications, regional integration and the consolidation of various processes by means of support, solidarity and pastoral animation accompanied by CELAM.
