Participants at the meeting include Mgr Eugenio Scarpellini, national director of the PMS in Bolivia and Sr Cilenia Rojas, PMS coordinator. The three day meeting will be an opportunity for experience sharing. In this regard Sr Cilenia, said: “In Colombia, we will begin by presenting the social, cultural and ecclesial reality of children and young people. This will be followed by a presentation of the PMS in Bolivia and the work we have achieved with our service. We will then discuss how the media can take part in the evangelising activity of the Church.”
The meeting will also be an opportunity to identify common lines and a working plan to build communion and respond to the missionary mandate.
Lastly, as a priority “we will discuss how to meet the needs of children, adolescents and young people and give them support and formation to enable them to represent the present and the future of a Church renewed in its missionary commitment ”, Sr Cilenia Rojas concluded.
