AMERICA/COLOMBIA - Catholic school directors and teachers of working on the mission of evangelization

Bogota (Agenzia Fides) – October 14-15, as an initiative of the Bishops' Committee for Evangelization of the Culture and Education and the Department for Education, Culture, and Universities of the Colombian Bishops' Conference, there will be the 10th Meeting for Education Ministry. As a statement sent to Agenzia Fides from the Bishops' Conference explained, the objective is that of “inspiring Catholic school directors and teachers with the joy of being pastoral leaders in their institutions, so they commit themselves more actively in their mission of evangelization.” Among the themes to be addressed are: “The Tasks and Work Areas of Catholic School Directors and Teachers in Fulfillment of Their Mission of Evangelization,”; “The Educational Task as an Evangelizational Ministry of Catholic School Directors and Teachers”; “Maturity in the faith and pastoral commitment of Colombian Catholic School Directors and Teachers”; “The Administrative and Directive Management in the Evangelizational Dimension of Catholic School Directors and Teachers.” (GT) (2/10/2009)
