AMERICA/COLOMBIA - “We children have hunger and thirst for justice, too.” III Archdiocesan Seminar for Children's Ministry

Medellin (Agenzia Fides) – Children's Ministry and the Department of Communications of the Archdiocese of Medellin, in collaboration with the Pontifical Bolivarian University (UPB), have organized the III Archdiocesan Seminar on Children, with the theme: “May we listen to the children in their rights: We children have hunger and thirst for justice, too.” The initiative, which is scheduled to be attended by nearly 400 people in representation of public and private institutions of the Church that work with children, will take place September 29 at the Monsignor Manuel Jose Sierra Hall at the University. As a note sent to Agenzia Fides explained, there will be four talks in the program: “Integral development in early childhood”; “General vision of early childhood ministry: model of integration and child development”; Nutrition for childhood: two sides of the situation in Colombia”; “Health during childhood: a civil and moral right.” (GT) (Agenzia Fides 25/9/2009)
