La Paz (Agenzia Fides) – On Wednesday, September 9, at the Cathedral of La Paz, Bishop Gonzalo del Castillo, Military Bishop of Bolivia, presided the Mass at the beginning of the Marian Mission and the Permanent Mission on the theme “With Mary, Our Mother, Missionary Disciples for Bolivia.” Beginning that same day, the images of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and those of Copacabana behan their pilgrimage tour stopping in various offices and barracks of the military and police forces. The Marian mission will conclude on October 23, with the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation for the young soldiers and police officers. For the launching of the Permanent Mission, which is taking place across the continent, a group of priests and laity will visit the military institutions to give talks on the Permanent Mission.
