AMERICA/BOLIVIA - Symposium on Missiology: “That which we have heard and seen we now know”

Cochabamba (Agenzia Fides) – From September 17-19, the house of the Crusade Missionaries in Cochabamba will host the II Bolivian Symposium of Missiology on: “That which we have heard and seen we now know.” The event is being organized by the Missiology Institute of Latin America at the Catholic University of Bolivia and the group “Semilla.” Among the themes to be addressed during the three-day workshop, are: “Women on the Missions,” “A Permanent State of Mission,” and “City Missions.” On the afternoons of September 17 and 18, there will also be group workshops to reflect on the themes in a group discussion, drawing out the religious, cultural, political, and social aspects. The Symposium will end at 5:30pm on September 19, with a Mass. (GT) (Agenzia Fides 10/9/2009)
