Vatican City (Fides Service) - At a time in which the Catholic Church is still accused of being an “adversary of science”, the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum College in Rome tells a story which everyone should hear: the story of “Seekers of the Truth”: men and women of science and faith to whom we owe, through a long and complex dialogue, some of the major findings in Huamn Science.
“Seekers of Truth” is the title of an exhibition organised by the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum College 11 - 27 May 2004, to tell of the most important moments of relations between Science and Faith, highlighting fundamental contributions and main themes.
Th exhibition will open with a conference on 11 May by Dott. Luigi Iafrate, geographer and researcher on the contributions made by men of faith to progress in the field of Meteorological Studies. The organisers aim to attract the general public and especially students and teachers of schools and universities for whom special guided visits will be provided.
