Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, on October 10, 2008, appointed Fr. Joshua Nailon Nyoni of the clergy of the Diocese of Hwange (Zimbabwe), Rector of “St. Augustine” Interdiocesan Seminary in the Archdiocese of Bulawayo (Zimbabwe).
The new Rector was born on February 6, 1970. He was ordained a priest on February 1, 1998 for the Diocese of Hwange, his native diocese. He earned a Masters in Religious Studies from the University of Zimbabwe and later a Licentiate and Doctorate in Spirituality from the Teresianum in Rome. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 19/2/2009)
