Tuesday, 9 September 2008

Lima (Agenzia Fides) – Beginning September 13, Lima will be hosting various activities open to the public, organized by the Peruvian Bishops’ Committee for Biblical and Indigenous Pastoral Catechesis (CECABI), in honor of “Bible Month,” which is being celebrated in September.
The activities will begin with the 6th Bible Expo, which will be open until September 30, where people can find various materials on the Bible from an array of publishers. Also running from September 13-30, is the exposition of a “Bible Museum,” where visitors will be able to observe the entire process of how the Scriptures came together, over the course of history.
Likewise during Bible Month, there will be a Bible seminar and workshop on Saint Paul; a children’s day, and a youth festival. Bible Month will close with an ecumenical celebration for “Bible Day,” on September 30, feast of Saint Jerome. (RG) (Agenzia Fides 9/9/2008)
