ASIA/CHINA - Second Course for Catechists, sponsored by the Seminary in central Mongolia

Hu He Hao Te (Agenzia Fides) – 45 catechists from 5 dioceses of the province of central Mongolia will take part in the second Course for Catechists, promoted and organized by the central Mongolian Seminary, which began on June 9. The lessons include themes from Sacred Scripture, the Liturgy, and the Missions and will be presented by 6 priests from the Seminary. Two religious of the Diocesan Congregation of Saint Therese of Lisieux will be in charge of teaching sacred music and prayers. In the homily at the beginning of the Course, the celebrant encouraged participants “to take up the missionary and pastoral commitments within their own communities, starting from a good catechetical training, done in prayer and spiritual reflection, so as to contribute to the work of Evangelization, moving others to join in the mission.” (NZ) (Agenzia Fides 18/6/2008)
