EUROPE/ITALY - June 21: priestly and deaconate ordinations for the Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo

Rome (Agenzia Fides) – On Saturday, June 21, Archbishop Mauro Piacenza, Secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy, will preside the ordination Mass for four priests and two deacons of the Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo. The new priests are: Accursio Ciaccio, Stefano Don, Gabriele Foti, and Franco Soma. The new deacons are: Daniele Dizione and Pietro Rossotti. The event will take place in the Basilica of St. Mary Major, at 3:30pm.
Following his priestly ordination, Accursio Ciaccio will return to his mission in Attleboro (USA), where he spent his year as a deacon. Stefano Don will remain in Rome, in a parish in the Magliana neighborhood. Gabriele Foti will work in the central curia office of the Fraternity, and Franco Soma will teach religion at a school in Washington.
The newly ordained priests will gather will other members of the Fraternity from the parishes, schools, prisons, and hospitals all over the world, in accordance with the charism of Commuion and Liberation. The Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo was founded in 1985 by Monsignor Massimo Camisasca, who is also its Superior General.
