Tai Yuan (Agenzia Fides) – With the intentions of consecrating their own lives, families, parish, diocese, nation, and the entire world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, over 400 faithful from the parish of Sha Gou, in the Diocese of Tai Yuan, in the province of Shan Xi, participated in the prayer meeting dedicated to the Sacred Heart, which took place June 6, first Friday of the month dedicated to the devotion to the Sacred Heart. The faithful prayed for all the people of the world who are suffering from the results of the earthquake, the cyclone, and flooding, offering all their sufferings to the Sacred Heart. At its conclusion, the Pastor, Fr. Chang Xiao Wu gave the Eucharistic Benediction and encouraged the faithful to give thanks to the Sacred Heart through a life lived in holiness.
