The participants will have access to a “virtual classroom” where they will meet with professors, tutors, and other students, in order to interact and contribute to the teaching process. They will also be able to create new work and professional links with “classmates” in Latin America and Spain. The students themselves will be the protagonists in their own learning process and at the end of the course, they will publish their findings on a group website. Having completed the course, the participants will receive a Certificate from the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Communications (CICS) of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
The second edition of the on-line seminar on the radio has ended, also at the Gregorian University and registration is now open for the third seminar. The seminar on radio production from the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Communications (CICS) at the Pontifical Gregorian University ended with a group project by participants, setting up a radio program and news program for the radio. One of the major achievements of the seminar was that the group work was able to be carried out by students from various different Latin American countries, who expressed their gratitude not only for the formation received, but also for the opportunity to interact with the other participants. Encouraged by the results, CICS hopes to continue reaching out to the Latin American nations through the Internet, capacitating members of society with a commitment to the Church’s mission and the developing local communities, with the initiation of a third seminar. The seminar will begin June 5 and will last 8 weeks. (RG) (Agenzia Fides 27/05/2008; righe 29, parole 355)
