ASIA/CHINA - “Visiting Jesus present in the sick, testifying to the faith” is the motto for a group dedicated to pastoral health care service in the Diocese of Wen Zhou

Wen Zhou (Agenzia Fides) - “Visiting Jesus present in the sick, testifying to the faith” is the motto chosen by the “Group of Love,” that performs pastoral health care services in the Diocese of WenZhou. It began 14 years ago, at the First Diocesan Missionary Congress, celebrated in October of 1994 and is now made up of about 30 Catholic members, with an average age of 60. Every day, they visit various hospitals, bringing the Lord’s message of love to the patients. Because, “each one of them reflects the face of Christ and this also gives us the opportunity to testify to our faith,” the group’s leader said.
