Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect for the Congregation of the Evangelisation of Peoples, on March 7, 2008 appointed Fr. Richard Kitengye, of the clergy of the Diocese of Kabinda, Rector of the Theological Provincial Major Seminary of “Christ the King” in Kananga (Republic of Congo).
The new rector was born September 26, 1963 and was ordained a priest in Kabinda on July 29, 1990. He completed doctoral studies in Moral Theology in Rome, and has worked in coordinating the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Kabinda.
