Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect for the Congregation of the Evangelisation of Peoples, on January 31, 2008 appointed Fr. Jovite Monga Lunda, of the clergy of the Diocese of Kamina, Rector of the Preparatory section of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Interdiocesan Major Seminary, in the Diocese of Kamina (Republic of Congo).
The new rector was born January 27, 1966 in Kayeye, Katanga. He was ordained a priest in Kamina on May 23, 1998. After his ordination, he served as a parish priest in various parishes. Since 2005, he has been a parish pastor in Saint Isidore. (S.L.) (Agenzia Fides 8/5/2008; righe 8, parole 99)
