National Director of Pontifical Mission Societies confirmed

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Cardinal Ivan Dias, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples has appointed 6 January 2008 National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Sierra Leone and Gambia for a five year term 2008-2013 Reverend Henry Aruna, of the clergy of the diocese of Kenema.
The new National Director was born August 2, 1964. He was ordained a priest in 1993. He earned a Masters in Education Studies and a licentiate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Urban University. He taught philosophy in the Major Seminary of Makeni. He is currently Dean of the Major Seminary St. Paul, of Freetown. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 27/2/2008 righe 8, parole 105)
