“Close to the Patient” Course for Health Care Pastoral organised by the International Institute of the Theology of Health Care - Camillianum

Rome (Agenzia Fides) - On the occasion of a Conference “Go preach the Gospel and care for the sick”, on Tuesday 4 December, at 3pm, Fr Andrea Manto, Director of the Italian Bishops' Confernce national office for health care pastoral will inaugurate a Course for Health Care Pastoral “Close to the Patient” organised by the International Institute of the Theology of Health Care - Camillianum.
The themes treated in each lesson will range from the philosophy of suffering, to the healing Church community, a Christian vision of health and sickness, the spiritual life of the patient, bio-ethical issues at the end of life. The lessons will be given by teachers at the Camillianum and other Specialists in the sector; the course is organised by Fr Luciano Sandrin and Prof. Massimo Petrini.
The course will be held every Tuesday from 3-6pm until 27 May 2008, students may register for the whole series or single lessons.
