AMERICA/PERU - “Bio-ethics: a bridge to the future”: First Course in Bio-ethics organised by Ricardo Palma University Chaplaincy in Lima

Lima (Agenzia Fides) - Ricardo Palma University in Lima will hold a 1st Course in Bio-Ethics: “Bio-ethics: a bridge to the future”, organised jointly by the university's Chaplaincy and Faculty of Medicine.
The subjects, many issues being discussed today in Latin America and Europe, such as “Birth control and Abortion”, “Ethical status of the human embryo” and “Post Abortion syndrome”, will be treated from a scientific and ethical perspective.
Panel discussion will offer an opportunity for dialogue between professors and students. A member of the Pontifical Academy for Life will speak about: “The human being (ontology)-Ethics and Morals”; “Assiology and Deontology”; “Bio-ethics: History, concept, fundaments and principles”; “Eugenetics and Euthanasia”; “test tube fertilisation - FIVET” and “Abortion: Modality, cause and role of hormones”.
The 24 academic hour course will be held at the Javier Pérez de Cuellar Auditorium at the Faculty of Economy and Administration.
