Kao Hsiung (Agenzia Fides) - Helping those engaged in pastoral care of marriage and the family to improve their spiritual pre-marital and marriage work: this is the objective of the Lenten retreat of the "Committee of the Star" of the Legion of Mary of Kao Hsiung, to be held on March 3 and will be led by Rev. Eugene Lin Chi-Cheng, Rector of the Major Seminary in Taiwan. According to information gathered by Fides, from 24 February to August, the Center of Evangelization and Sanctification of the Family of the Diocese of Kao Hsiung, has organized every Friday a workshop for engaged couples preparing for marriage, in collaboration with the Association of Family and the diocesan Missionary Association, taking into account ten themes for a total of 40 hours of talks, coaching and spiritual guidance. All this is to bring young couples to achieve a lasting and happy marriage. Therefore, in order to prepare the operators of the pastoral care of marriage and family that will be the organizers and animators of the workshop, the "Committee of the Star" of the Legion of Mary of Kao Hsiung has devoted to this end a day of spiritual retreat, at the beginning of Lent, on March 3, to share experiences and discuss the most important issues to be addressed.
