AFRICA/KENYA - Ghanean White Father killed on mission

Nairobi (Fides Service)- A White Father, a member of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Africa, was shot dead on Saturday 10 March in Nairobi, Kenya. Fr. Martin Addai was in his car on the Mombasa Road in the South B area of Nairobi on his way to the Seminary where he is rector, when he was attacked by a gang of criminals who shot him and stole his car.
Born in Ghana on 12 November 1960 Fr. Addai was rector of the Missionaries of Africa House of Formation for Theology Students in Nairobi . He also taught Medical Ethics at Tangaza College, Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). (L.M.) (Agenzia Fides 13/3/2007 righe 14 parole 115)
