AFRICA/SENEGAL - PLENARY ASSEMBLY OF SECAM/SCEAM.: RENEWAL FOR GREATER IMPULSE TO MISSIONARY ANIMATION
The Purpose of the Meeting is to give new impulse to missionary animation and co-ordination among the components of SECAM>SCEAM keeping in mind the following principles:

1) Consider the special Synod for Africa held in Rome 1994 as a new point of departures its petition, orientation and guidelines are a light to illuminate mission in Africa
2) Make family solidarity and the Church family of God the two poles of the Symposium’s activity

3)See SECAM/SCEAM as a tool of connection and co-ordination among bishops conferences: which inspires, encourages, proposes, suggests, and co-ordinates still more efficiently; and which makes the Bishops reflect together on the challenges and problems of evangelisation in Africa.
