Raiatea (Agenzia Fides) - For the first time in the Leeward Islands, the Raromatai, a gathering was held that brought together in Taha'a, one of the 4 that welcomed the other three: Huahine, Raiatea and Bora Bora, all the young people from the islands who are preparing for their Confirmation. "Ninety teenagers across 4 islets is an achievement, if one only thinks how sparse the all-encompassing number of Catholic Christians is," Fr. Sandro Lafranconi told Fides about the Easter celebrations that just ended.
"Together, since Easter afternoon, we experienced three intense days of preparation for Confirmation," wrote the priest from the Society for African Missions.
